    ZOMACTON® (somatropin) is a synthetic human growth hormone (hGH) produced by recombinant DNA technology.

     

    ZOMACTON® is licensed to treat Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD) in children, diagnosed with GHD and in girls diagnosed with Turner Syndrome.        

    How to use ZOMACTON®


    ZOMACTON® is broken down by the digestive system and therefore cannot be taken by mouth. It needs to be administered through the skin as an injection.

    Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD) should ideally be treated on a nightly basis (at bedtime) with ZOMACTON® . The dose and exact schedule of administration is based on an individual assessment of each patient, but the treatment can be over several years.

     

    Needle-free devices

    ZOMACTON® can be administered using the needle-free jet delivery system. ZomaJet 2 Vision is for the use with the ZOMACTON® 4mg presentation. ZomaJet Vision X is for the use with the ZOMACTON® 10mg presentation.

    (triptorelin acetate)

  • GONAPEPTYL® Depot 3.75mg (triptorelin acetate)

    GONAPEPTYL® (triptorelin acetate) is a solution for injection containing 3.75 mg/1 ml of triptorelin acetate (per prefilled syringe). One of its actions is to decrease the production of sex hormones in the body.

     

    It is used:

    • In Men: For the treatment of hormone dependent prostate cancer.

    • In Women: To suppress the level of ovarian hormones in order to:

      • Reduce the size of uterine myomas (commonly known as fibroids)

      • Treat endometriosis

    • In Children: For the treatment of Central Precocious Puberty (puberty that occurs prematurely but with the physical and hormonal changes of normal puberty).
